Thank you for ordering from Slap's Barbeque. We take pride in the quality of our food and merchandise and want every customer to have a great experience when ordering from our online store.

This Returns and Refund Policy applies to purchases made through the Slap's Barbeque website and related online services (collectively, the “Services”). This policy should be read together with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Shipping Policy. In the event of any conflict between these policies, the terms outlined in this Returns and Refund Policy will govern matters related specifically to returns and refunds.

Food and Perishable Products

Due to the perishable nature of many of our barbecue and food products, all food sales are generally final and cannot be returned.

If your order arrives damaged, spoiled, or incorrect, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery so we can review the issue.

After reviewing the situation, Slap's Barbeque may offer one of the following remedies at our sole discretion:

  • Replacement shipment
  • Store credit
  • Partial or full refund

To help us evaluate your request quickly, please include:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Photos of the product and packaging, if applicable

Requests submitted more than 24 hours after delivery may not be eligible for resolution.

Temperature and Food Safety During Shipping

Our food products are shipped in insulated packaging with cooling materials designed to maintain safe temperatures during transit.

It is normal for frozen or chilled products to partially thaw during shipping. As long as the product arrives cool to the touch, it is generally considered safe for consumption and does not qualify for a refund.

Warm Weather Shipping

During periods of warm weather, cooling materials such as ice packs may melt more quickly during transit. This is expected and does not necessarily indicate that the product is unsafe.

As long as the food arrives cool to the touch and within a reasonable temperature range for refrigerated foods, it is considered safe for consumption and will not qualify for a refund or replacement.

Shipping Delays and Carrier Issues

Once an order leaves our facility, it is in the possession of the shipping carrier.

While Slap's Barbeque carefully prepares and packages all shipments, we cannot guarantee carrier delivery times and are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather conditions, natural events, or service interruptions.

Orders that arrive later than the estimated delivery window due to carrier delays may not be eligible for refunds or replacements.

Delivery Responsibility

Customers are responsible for ensuring someone is available to receive the package at the time of delivery.

Because many items are perishable, packages should be refrigerated or frozen promptly upon arrival. Slap's Barbeque is not responsible for product quality issues that occur because a package was left outside, unattended, or unrefrigerated after delivery.

Lost or Stolen Packages

If a carrier confirms that a package was delivered to the address provided at checkout, Slap's Barbeque is not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after delivery.

Customers should contact the shipping carrier directly to file a claim if a delivered package cannot be located. We recommend monitoring tracking information and retrieving packages promptly upon delivery.

Incorrect Shipping Information

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information at checkout.

If an order is returned to Slap's Barbeque due to an incorrect or incomplete address, the customer may be responsible for additional shipping charges required to resend the order.

Orders lost or delivered incorrectly due to inaccurate address information may not be eligible for refunds.

Order Changes and Cancellations

Because many of our products are prepared, packaged, and shipped quickly, orders may not be modified or canceled once they have been processed.

If you need to request a change, please contact us as soon as possible after placing the order and we will do our best to accommodate your request if the order has not yet been prepared or shipped.

Non-Food Merchandise

Non-perishable merchandise such as apparel or branded merchandise may be eligible for return within 30 days of delivery provided the item is:

  • Unused
  • In original condition
  • In original packaging

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was defective or shipped incorrectly.

Refund Processing

If a refund is approved, it will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout.

Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement depending on your financial institution.

Excessive or Fraudulent Claims

Slap's Barbeque reserves the right to limit, refuse, or deny refunds, replacements, or credits if we determine that a customer is making excessive, suspicious, or potentially fraudulent claims related to orders.

This determination will be made at our sole discretion in order to protect our business from abuse of this policy.

Relationship to Other Policies

This Returns and Refund Policy operates alongside all other polices and terms.

If there is any conflict between these policies or terms, the applicable policy or term governing the specific subject matter will control.

Updates to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy periodically to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes.
