Order Processing

Orders are processed and shipped Monday through Wednesday only.

Orders placed later in the week may be held until the next available shipping window to ensure that perishable items are not delayed in transit over a weekend.

Orders are not processed or shipped Thursday through Sunday or on major holidays.

Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.

Processing times may vary during holidays, promotional events, or periods of unusually high order volume.

Shipping Schedule

To protect product quality during transit, all orders ship Monday through Wednesday only.

Orders placed after the weekly shipping cutoff may be held until the following week to ensure the shipment does not sit in transit over a weekend.

This shipping schedule helps reduce the risk of delays that could affect perishable products.

Packaging and Food Safety

Our barbecue products are prepared, packaged, and shipped with product safety and quality in mind.

Products may be:

  • vacuum sealed
  • chilled or frozen
  • packed with insulated packaging and cooling materials

These measures are designed to help maintain product quality during transit.

Customers should refrigerate or freeze products promptly upon delivery.

Perishable Food Policy

Because our products are perishable food items, special shipping and packaging procedures are used to help maintain safe temperatures during transit.

Products may arrive chilled, partially thawed, or cold to the touch. This is normal and does not necessarily indicate that the product is unsafe. Cooling materials such as gel packs or dry ice may dissipate during shipment.

As long as the product remains cool to the touch upon delivery, it is generally safe to refrigerrate or freeze and consume according to normal food safety practices.

Shipping Carriers and Delivery Estimates

We ship using reputable national carriers such as UPS, FedEx, or USPS.

Shipping options and estimated delivery timelines are displayed at checkout.

Delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Shipping carriers may occasionally experience delays due to weather, operational issues, or other circumstances outside our control.

Slap's Barbeque is not responsible for carrier delays once a package has been shipped.

Because our products are perishable, delivery delays caused by the shipping carrier do not automatically qualify an order for refund or replacement.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated during checkout based on factors including destination, package weight and size, and the shipping method selected.

All shipping charges are clearly displayed before completing your purchase.

Delivery Responsibility

Once a package is transferred to the shipping carrier and tracking information is provided, responsibility for delivery rests with the carrier.

Customers are responsible for monitoring tracking information and ensuring someone is available to receive perishable shipments when they arrive.

Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information at checkout.

If an incorrect or incomplete address results in a failed delivery, returned shipment, or delivery to the wrong location, Slap's Barbeque cannot guarantee replacement or refund of the order.

Additional shipping fees may apply if an order must be re-shipped.

Lost or Stolen Packages

If a package is marked as delivered by the carrier but cannot be located, customers should first contact the shipping carrier to investigate the delivery.

Slap's Barbeque cannot guarantee replacements or refunds for packages that are lost, stolen, or misplaced after delivery.

Damaged Shipments

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and include your order number, photos of the packaging and products, and a brief description of the issue.

We will review the situation and determine an appropriate resolution.

Weather and Seasonal Conditions

Extreme weather conditions, including high heat or severe cold, may affect shipping performance or product condition.

Slap's Barbeque is not responsible for product issues caused by weather-related carrier delays or exposure after delivery.

Shipping Locations

We currently ship to addresses within the United States.

Certain products may have additional shipping limitations based on food safety regulations or carrier restrictions.
