Shipping & Packaging

Your order ships fully cooked, vacuum-sealed, and frozen to preserve peak flavor. We ship via UPS or FedEx in an insulated box with dry ice. Your order will arrive cool to partially frozen and will contain simple rewarming instructions. There might not be any dry ice left in the box upon arrival, this is completely normal!

To ensure the freshness of your order, and so your order has the best chance to arrive before the weekend, we only ship perishables Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. We do not ship perishables Thursday through Sunday.

Orders typically arrive within 2-3 days of shipping.

Orders received after 11:30 AM CT or on holidays will ship on the next shipping day.

Examples:

Order received at 1:00 PM on Monday will ship out Tuesday.
Order received at 11:30 on Tuesday will ship out on Tuesday.
Order received anytime after 11:30 on Wednesday will ship the following Monday.

I’ve always ate my bbq fresh at the restaurant. So, I was a little skeptical of eating frozen food. After following the suggested heating directions my burnt ends and sliced brisket was awesome!!! Still had that fresh smoked flavor. Can’t wait to try the ribs.

I used to live in KC and Slaps has been my go to bbq place since 2016. I moved away and always dreamed of the great bbq at Slaps. Finally, my dream come true, I am able to order Slaps for delivery. I live in Arizona & Slaps is the best Ribs & Brisket. The meat just falls off the bone. When I visit Kansas City I go to Slaps several times and when I return to Arizona I take a slap of ribs & brisket. My family all go to Slaps. It’s our tradition

The brisket wad tender & delicious! Love the sweet bbq sauce. I loved the sweet baked beans & the potatoes were wonderful! Everything was fresh & delicious!

Even mail order the ribs were delicious. Tender but not mushy. I will have to say I was disappointed in the sweet Slap Sauce. For what I paid I don’t expect to have high fructose corn syrup as an ingredient, let alone the fourth ingredient on the label. I try not to buy anything with high fructose corn syrup in it. I won’t be buying that again

My wife and I enjoyed eating at Slaps a few years ago during a visit to KC. We both enjoyed it then so much that I ordered more online for my wife's birthday party.
First of all my wife was surprised and happy to hear that she was going to be able to enjoy your barbeque without having to go to KC and in the comfort of her own home and have everyone experience the great food we experienced when we ate at Slaps.
The food was delivered well in advance of my wife's party and frozen as promised
The reheat instructions were simple and informative.
Most of all, everyone loved the food. The ribs, pulled pork, polish sausage, brisket and burnt ends were a hit.

Thank you to everyone at Slaps for making this happen. We have a family camping trip coming up shortly and plan on ordering more to enjoy while we camp

When will my order ship?

Orders are packed and shipped on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (excluding holidays). Any orders placed after 12 PM (CST) on Wednesday will be shipped the following Monday to ensure product quality.

When will my order arrive?

Most orders arrive within 1 to 3 days of shipping out. We ship Monday through Wednesday so your box arrives by Friday and never sits in a warehouse over the weekend. You'll get tracking as soon as it leaves us, so you'll know the exact day it hits your door.

How do I cancel or change my order?

If you need to make a change or cancel your order, contact us as soon as possible. Once your order is packed or has shipped, we won’t be able to modify it.

Do you ship outside the U.S.?

Not at this time. We currently ship to U.S. addresses only. We also do not ship to P.O. Boxes or military addresses.

How can I track my order?

Once your order is processed, you’ll get a shipping confirmation email with tracking details. We'll keep you updated every step of the way.

Will my food arrive frozen?

Your order ships in an insulated box with dry ice or gel packs, so it arrives cold and safe to eat. Most orders show up still frozen or partially frozen. If anything has softened but is still cold to the touch, it's perfectly fine. Just move it straight to the freezer or fridge when it arrives.

Can I order food that’s not listed on the shipping menu?

No. Only items made in our USDA-inspected kitchen are eligible for shipping. But we’re always working on adding more options!

How long can I keep the product in my freezer?

You can freeze any unused, unopened portions for 6 months.
